1. The promotion offer is valid from April 1 to June 30, 2013, both dates inclusive (”the Promotional Period”).
2. Price quoted for all rewards (including gifts and cash coupons) is for reference only.
3. All gift items are available on first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. All gift items cannot be redeemed for cash. The use of cash coupons will be subject to the terms and conditions of the merchants involved in the promotion.
4. All offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion offers.
5. Welcome offers are not applicable for U.S. persons, except deposit interest rate.
6. In case of dispute, Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”) decision shall be final and conclusive.
7. The Bank shall not be responsible for any matters relating to the product or services provided. The respective companies are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities in relation to such product or services.
8. The Bank reserves the right to amend the below Terms and Conditions from time to time and is entitled at any time without any liability in any manner whatsoever to alter the program without prior notice. Should there be any dispute, the Bank’s decision will be final.

Terms and Conditions of the Online Exclusive Reward and Fund-in Reward of Citibanking account:
10. Client must become a Citibanking client and open new accounts as the primary account holder (“Primary Account Holder”) in the promotional period. For Joint account, the gift will be rewarded to the Primary Account Holder only. Offer is not applicable to clients who have had a banking relationship with the Bank during the previous 12 months.
11. To enjoy Online Exclusive Reward, each Eligible Primary Account Holder is required to fulfill the below requirements within the first month upon account opening to enjoy HK$150 coupon:
 
(a) enroll banking e-statement; AND
(b) successfully log-on to Citibank online banking; AND
(c) successfully open a Stock account; AND
(d) Citibank reserves the right to reclaim the full cash value of the instant gift in the event that the Stock account is closed or e-statement is canceled within 1st year after account opening.
(e) An extra HK$50 instant reward will be offered to Citibanking client who has done the pre-registration online or via hotline.
12. To enjoy below fund-in reward, each Eligible Primary Account Holder is required to:
 
(a) bring in New Funds corresponding to relevant tiers described in the table below into the newly opened account within the first month of account opening, AND
(b) maintain the New Funds in the account for 2 months (“Eligible Client”), AND
(c) sign the hold fund agreement of 2 months or above.

13. The welcome gift (credit card spending) or welcome gift redemption letter will be paid or sent to eligible client within 8 weeks from the date on which the welcome gift requirements are fulfilled.
14. Credit card spending will be paid in terms of Citibank credit card spending to the Citibank Credit Card assigned by client. If clients are not currently a holder of a Citibank Credit Card, they will be required to apply for a Citibank Credit Card and the credit card is subject to approval. The same value of cash rebate will be offered if the client’s card is invalid or client’s card application is rejected without further notice. Cash rebate will be credited to client’s Primary Account.
15. Only those Eligible Clients whose relevant accounts are valid and in good standing during the entire promotion period will be eligible for the rewards. If the account status has changed, the Bank reserves the right to terminate the Offers to the Eligible Client without prior notice.
16. New funds exclude transfer of funds within Citibank.
17. Transfer-in Mutual Fund/ Bonds/ Securities of total new funds will be counted as New Funds. Only Mutual Funds offered by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited, Citibank, N.A., Citigroup Inc. will be accepted. The transfer-in process will at least take 2 to 3 months.
18. Each client is only entitled to one gift during the promotion period.
19. The Bank reserves the right to reclaim the full cash value of the welcome gift in the event that an account is closed within 2 months of its opening, or should the Average Daily Combined Balance fall below the above requirement within 2 months of the account’s opening date.
20. Citibanking clients who maintain an Average Daily Combined Balance of HK$10,000 or above (or equivalent) for the previous month will enjoy a waiver of HK$100 (or equivalent) monthly service fee (HK$400 or equivalent for International Personal Banking clients). Service charges for certain products apply.
21. The “Average Daily Combined Balance” is calculated based on the sum of your daily balances of deposit, investment and accumulated paid premium* of selected insurance products of all your single name account(s) and joint name account(s), divided by the number of days in the month. Selected insurance products mean insurance policy(ies) with savings element or investment-linked insurance. If you only hold account(s) in joint names, the “Average Daily Combined Balance” is calculated based on the sum of the balances of all your account(s) held with the same joint names.
22. If a new client closes all of his/her accounts within 6 months from his/her account opening date, an account closure fee of HK$500 (or equivalent) will be charged.
23. Citibank International Personal Banking clients can choose alternate offers at equivalent value, please ask our staff for details.
Terms and Conditions of the HKD time deposit preferential rate:
24. New-to-bank Citibanking clients (Clients who do not hold any Citibank banking account in the past 12 months) who set up a HKD 3-month time deposit with a minimum amount of HK$50,000 can enjoy up to 0.7% p.a.. Clients must be a holder of Stock Accounts (HK & US).
25. All above mentioned time deposit offers are not applicable to time deposits set up via online or mobile channel and are subjected to change from time to time without prior notice.
26. All interest rates are annualized interest rates that are for reference only and are not guaranteed. The actual time deposit interest rate would depend on the terms and conditions of the promotion offers, deposit amount, currency, tenor and interest rate on the value date. All interest rates are subject to change due to market fluctuations without prior notice. The preferential interest rate is subject to quota availability and it will be offered in first-come-first-serve basis.
   
  * For insurance policy(ies) with savings element, accumulated paid premium means total premium paid minus value of outstanding policy loan. For investment-linked insurance policy(ies), accumulated paid premium means total premium paid minus value of fund sold.
