General Terms & Conditions

  1. Unless otherwise specified, Citibank PremierMiles Card Reward Program ("Reward Program") is open to the principal and supplementary cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citibank PremierMiles Card ("Card") issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank"). Only Cardholders whose Card accounts are valid, in good standing and in compliance with conditions that may be imposed by Citibank from time to time will be eligible to participate in the Reward Program.
  2. Points ("Points") earned in respect of any supplementary Card will be attributed to its principal Card and can only be redeemed by the principal Cardholders.
  3. Cardholders will be awarded 1.5 Points for every HK$1 (or equivalent foreign currency) local spending and 3 Points for every HK$1 (or equivalent foreign currency) overseas spending.
  4. Overseas spending is defined as transactions, including internet transactions, which are settled in currencies except Hong Kong dollars, Renminbi or Macau Patacas, i.e. no conversion from a foreign currency into Hong Kong dollar, Renminbi or Macau Patacas is involved at the point of the transaction and the transaction currency as shown on the sales draft (if applicable) is not in Hong Kong dollar, Renminbi or Macau Patacas. Citibank reserves the right to change the ratio between (a) Points to be awarded; and (b) the specified amount charged to the Card account upon notice.
  5. Invalid transactions not eligible for Points include, but are not limited to, cash advances, fees and charges, withdrawal amount under the Balance Transfer Program, Cash Conversion Program and Dial a Check Installment Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, casino transactions, online bill payment, dynamic currency conversion transactions, or unposted / cancelled / refunded transactions.
  6. Points earned and redeemed in each statement cycle will be shown on the relevant statement of account.
  7. Unless otherwise specified, Points are not transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
  8. Once the request for redemption is confirmed by Citibank, it cannot be changed, cancelled, transferred, exchanged or refunded.

Terms & Conditions of Flexible Travel Rewards

Mileage/Hotel Points Redemption

  1. Principal Cardholders can convert his/her Points to miles/hotel points of Asia Miles, KrisFlyer, Royal Orchid Plus, SkyMiles, British Airways Executive Club, Malaysia Airlines Enrich, Etihad Guest, Garuda Frequent Flyer, Eva Air Infinity Mileagelands, Hilton Hhonors and IHG Rewards Club (each a "Mileage/Hotel Program") for free by calling 24-Hour PremierMiles Service Line at 2860 0360. Every 8 Points can be converted to 1 hotel point of Hilton HHonors; every 12 Points can be converted to 1 mile of Asia Miles, KrisFlyer, British Airways Executive Club, Malaysia Airlines Enrich, Etihad Guest, Garuda Frequent Flyer or 1 hotel point of IHG Rewards; every 13 Points can be converted to 1 mile of Royal Orchid Plus or SkyMiles; and every 18 Points can be converted to 1 mile of Eva Air Infinity Mileagelands.

  2. Principal Cardholders must convert to a minimum of 500 miles for Asia Miles, KrisFlyer, British Airways Executive Club, Malaysia Airlines Enrich, Etihad Guest, Garuda Frequent Flyer, Eva Air Infinity Mileagelands, Hilton HHonors, IHG Rewards Club, 1,500 miles for SkyMiles and 2,000 miles for Royal Orchid Plus each time a conversion is made; thereafter conversion must be in the multiple of 500 miles.
  3. Principal Cardholders must be a member of the frequent flyers program and the hotel privilege programs and be able to provide a valid membership number of his /her own Mileage Program account when converting Points to miles. Citibank will not accept any liability in relation to any loss incurred due to incorrect information provided by the principal Cardholders.
  4. Once the request for redemption is confirmed by Citibank, mileage conversion will be completed in 4 business days for Asia Miles, KrisFlyer, British Airways Executive Club, Malaysia Airline Enrich, Garuda Frequent Flyer, Eva Air Infinity Mileagelands, Hilton Hhonors and IHG Rewards Club, and 8 business days for Etihad Guest, SkyMiles and Royal Orchid Plus.
  5. The program rules of each Mileage Program is subject to change including regulations, policies, benefits, conditions of participation or mileage levels, in whole or in part at any time with or without notice and Citibank does not accept any responsibility in relation thereto.

Travel Rebate Conversion (Not applicable for Cardholders who have enrolled in the Auto Mileage Conversion Program)

  1. Principal Cardholders can convert his/her Points to rebate ("Rebate") for free by calling 24-Hour PremierMiles Service Line at 2860 0360. Every 150 Points can be converted to HK$1 worth Rebate.

  2. Each time a conversion is made, the total amount of Rebate to be converted must be in whole number and cannot exceed the total amount of the unredeemed travel transactions as defined in clause 18 posted in the recent two statements of account. No conversion can be made if principal Cardholders have no travel transactions posted in the recent two statements of account.
  3. A travel transaction means any of the following transactions conducted through the Card:

    • Transactions made at any travel agents ( including online travel agents) or airlines, and paid in Hong Kong dollars; and/or
    • Retail transactions, including internet retail transactions, paid in any currency except Hong Kong dollars.
  4. Once the request for redemption is confirmed by Citibank, the Rebate shall be credited to the Card account in 5 business days and be redeemable to offset the transaction amounts to be posted in that statement cycle excluding the Minimum Payment Due. Every HK$1 Rebate can be used to offset HK$1 transaction amount. Any unredeemed Rebate will be accumulated until the Card account is terminated.

Instant Redemption at Travel Agencies

  1. The promotion period is available from now till December 31, 2014.
  2. Principal Cardholders may request to instantly convert all available Points from their Card accounts to Rebate, which would be used to settle the purchases after any applicable discounts at the designated stores ("Instant Redemption Service"); the Rebate converted is up to the required amount for the purchases.
  3. Every 150 Points can be converted to a HK$1 rebate, which can be used to offset transaction amount of HK$1 at the designated stores. Any remaining balance after deduction of the Rebate must be settled with the same Card.
  4. Principal Cardholders are required to sign for acknowledgement after using the Instant Redemption Service.
  5. Once the request for Instant Redemption Service is accepted by Citibank and the respective merchant, it cannot be changed/cancelled/refunded and the Rebate cannot be transferred/exchanged/refunded under any circumstances.
  6. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The respective merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.
  7. Citibank and the respective merchant reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
  8. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and the respective merchant.

Auto Mileage Conversion Program (Not open for new application from Jan 1, 2013 onwards)

  1. Principal Cardholders can choose to enroll in the Auto Mileage Conversion Program to regularly convert his/her Points to any one of the Mileage Programs on every statement cycle. If there are insufficient Points for converting to miles, the Points will be brought forward to the next statement cycle.

  2. To enroll in the Auto Mileage Conversion Program, principal Cardholders must complete the relevant enrolment form and return to Citibank. The enrolment process will take 6 to 8 weeks.
  3. Principal Cardholders can change the Mileage Program enrolment or cancel the enrolment in the Auto Mileage Conversion Program by calling 24-Hour PremierMiles Service Line at 2860 0360. Any change or cancellation will take 6 to 8 weeks.
  4. Principal Cardholders whose Cards are issued on or after October 15, 2010 will be charged a handling fee of HK$200 for new enrolment in the Auto Mileage Conversion Program or each time a change is made to the Mileage Program enrolment.

Terms and Conditions of "Points for Cash"

  1. The promotion period is available from now until December 31, 2014.
  2. Principal Cardholders can redeem HK$1 cash rebate ("Cash Rebate") with 250 Points. Once the request is accepted by Citibank, the equivalent Points will be deducted from the Card account. The Cash Rebate will be credited to the account in 7 calendar days and the request will be shown in the Cardholders’ following statement of account. The Cash Rebate cannot offset Minimum Payment Due of each statement cycle.
  3. Each time a conversion is made, the total amount of Cash Rebate to be converted must be in whole number and in the multiple of 250 Points.
  4. Principal Cardholders shall make sure they have sufficient Points in their Card account to settle their request. The request will be cancelled automatically in case of insufficient Points in account.
  5. In case of any fraud / abuse in respect of this Program, Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the Cardholders’ eligibility to participate in this Program, suspend the Cardholders’ credit card for investigation and debit the Cardholders’ account with the equivalent amount of the Rebate redeemed under this Program without prior notice.

Terms & Conditions of Complimentary access to Hong Kong International Airport Lounges

  1. Each Cardholder can enjoy complimentary access to the Plaza Premium Lounge or Wellness Spa & Salon 4 times per calendar year. Visits by the principal and supplementary Cardholders will be counted cumulatively.
  2. If the Cardholder exceeds 4 visits to the Plaza Premium Lounge or Wellness Spa & Salon per calendar year, the Cardholder shall pay an entrance fee of HK$200 for each additional access. The entrance fee shall be debited from the Cardholder's Card account directly within 4 months from the access date.
  3. Each accompanying guest shall pay an entrance fee of HK$200 for each access, which will be debited from the Cardholder’s Card account directly within 4 months from the access date. Other fees may apply depending on services chosen and selected location entered.
  4. The same day boarding pass must be presented to enjoy the access to the Plaza Premium Lounge or Wellness Spa & Salon.
  5. Enjoy all-day food and beverages, shower facility, internet access, international newspaper/ magazines and international TV Channel, etc. (Service is subject to availability).

  1. Cardholders are required to settle travel fares in full with their Card in order to enjoy the offer.

  1. The Program is valid from November 1, 2014 (starting from 00:00) to December 31, 2014 (until 23:59), both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The “Up to 15% Bonus Asia Miles Program” (the “Program”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders of Citibank PremierMiles Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cardholders”).
  3. Unless otherwise specified, the Terms and Conditions of Citibank PremierMiles Card Reward Program apply. For details, please visit www.citibank.com.hk/pm.
  4. To participate in the Program, Eligible Cardholders are required to (1) convert Reward Points into Asia Miles (“Basic Miles”) via the 24-Hour PremierMiles Service Line at 2860 0360, Citibank website, by mail or by fax, and (2) take part in a lucky draw for Bonus Asia Miles (“Bonus Miles”) via the Program lucky draw hotline at 8226 1886 during the Promotion Period.
  5. The minimum conversion amount is 500 Asia Miles (i.e. 6,000 Points), and each conversion must be in the multiple of 500 Asia Miles.
  6. Once the Asia Miles redemption request is confirmed by Citibank, Basic Miles will be credited to the Eligible Cardholder’s Asia Miles account that has performed conversion within 8 working days.
  7. The Bonus Miles will be credited to the Eligible Cardholder’s Asia Miles account that has performed the conversion upon Program’s end, by January 31, 2015. The Bonus Miles applies to all Asia Miles redemption performed by the Eligible Card during the Promotion Period.
  8. To take part in the lucky draw, each Cardholder only needs to register once with the principal card account number via the Program lucky draw hotline. If an Eligible Cardholder registered more than once, only the result of the first time of the draw will be counted. Registration with a supplementary card number is also invalid. Citibank will verify the information provided by Cardholders and the Cardholder’s eligibility to participate in this Program will be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of Citibank.
  9. Eligible Cardholders must be members of Asia Miles and be able to provide a valid membership number of his/ her Asia Miles account when redeeming Points for Asia Miles. Citibank will not accept any liability in relation to any loss incurred due to incorrect information provided by the Eligible Cardholders.
  10. Each Eligible Cardholder should acknowledge that his/ her name, Asia Miles membership number and the total quantity of Asia Miles to be credited will be submitted to Asia Miles Limited for the purpose of crediting the miles to his/ her Asia Miles account.
  11. All conversions under the Auto Mileage Conversion Program are not eligible for the Program.
