|
| |
No. Peace of Mind Purchase Protection Plan provides the insured person with 24-hour worldwide Personal Accident Cover without any restriction on time and location. |
|
|
|
| |
Yes. The Peace of Mind Purchase Protection Plan is applicable to person who is aged between 18 and 65 for application. |
|
|
|
| |
"Valuables" mean jewelry, items of gold, silver or other precious metals, watches, photographic equipment, video and audio equipment, binoculars, works of art, curios, furs and musical instruments. |
|
|
|
| |
"Electronic equipments" mean any electronic processing equipment such as notebook/portable computer/tablet computer, portable/mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, iPod, PDA, portable audio & video equipment and MP3, etc. |

currency, cheques, traveler's cheques, securities or negotiable instruments of any kind; |

| CLAIMS INFORMATION |
|
| |
To make a claim, please notify Zurich Insurance Company Limited by written notice within 30 days from the occurrence of the incident. Please call Zurich Claims Hotline at +852 2903 9388 between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday for enquiry or to obtain a claim form, and send the original copy of all supporting documents together with the completed claim form to Zurich as soon as possible. Required supporting document(s) is / are as follows:

In case the property insured is lost as a result of theft, burglary, robbery, or hold up, the insured person shall report to the police within 24 hours from the occurrence of the incident and provide Zurich Insurance Company Limited with evidence which includes police report, the original customer copy of the credit card sale slip and the original receipts of the property insured.
In case the personal money is lost, the insured person shall report to the police within 24 hours from the occurrence of incident and provide Zurich Insurance Company Limited with the police report as evidence.
In case there is an unauthorized use of credit card, the insured person shall report to the police and issuing authority within 24 hours from the occurrence of the incident and provide Zurich Insurance Company Limited with evidence which includes police report, copy of notification to the issuing authority and the statements issued by the issuing card authority showing the record of unauthorized use of credit card.

No Claim Discount will be calculated once every policy year. Assuming no claim has been made or has arisen for the insured person in the last policy year, the insured person could enjoy 10% no claim discount on the renewal premium in the following policy year, up to a maximum of 30% discount.
In case a claim has been made or has arisen for the insured person in the last policy year, the no claim discount on the renewal premium of the following policy year will be decreased by 10%, subject to a minimum of nil discounts. Assuming the insured person is enjoying a 30% no claim discount; however, a claim has been made or has arisen in this policy year (regardless of total amount of claim and frequency), the no claim discount on the renewal premium will be decreased by 10% in the following policy year in which the insured person could enjoy 20% no claim discount only.

The term "deductible"/"excess" applies to general insurance; it is usually a fixed amount of money which the insured person must pay before the insurance company will pay the approved claim compensation. The amount of deductible/excess for purchase protection under Peace of Mind Purchase Protection Plan is as follows:

HK$250 for each and every loss due to theft, burglary, robbery or hold-up; and |
| (ii) |
HK$250 or 10% of the original purchase price, whichever is higher, for each and every loss other than those mentioned in (i) above. |

| PAYMENT INFORMATION |

If the insured person stops using Citibank credit card in the future, please notify Zurich Insurance Company Limited in advance to rearrange another credit card to settle the payment in order to ensure the policy is in full force and effect.

| General Exclusions (Apply to All Sections): |

This policy does not cover any claim(s) arising directly or indirectly from:
- an event insured separately elsewhere;
- ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any unclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel. Solely for the purpose of this exclusion combustion shall include any self-sustaining process of nuclear fission;
- any illegal act by or on behalf of the insured person; and
- any loss, destruction or damage or expenses directly or indirectly occasioned by or through or in consequence of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war is declared or not) or civil war, mutiny, civil commotion assuming the proportions of or amounting to a popular rising, military rising, insurrection, rebellion, revolution, military or usurped power.
