Notification of Change in Banking Service Fees
 
We would like to inform you that a monthly service fee will be charged for International Personal Banking Citi Priority and Citibanking account holders, effective January 1, 2017.
 
With this notice, we would like to bring to your attention of the following options:
 
Upgrading your Account
 
We invite you to upgrade your account to Citigold1 and enjoy a monthly fee waiver by raising your account balance2 to HK$1,500,000. If your account balance2 meets HK$1,500,000 on November 30, 20163, your account will be automatically upgraded to Citigold1 on December 31, 2016.
 
Continue using your Account
 
You may continue using your Citi Priority or Citibanking account; however, we would like to inform you that effective January 1, 2017, a monthly service fee of HK$400 will be applied, irrespective of the balance in your account.
 
Closing your Account
 
If you wish to terminate your account, you may contact us and we will guide you through the necessary arrangements.
Finally, please note that along with the aforementioned service fee, other banking service fees will also be revised. You may refer to the Notice of Amendment for details. For a complete list of our fees and charges, please visit www.citibank.com.hk to download the Service Fee booklet.

1. Citigold is exclusive for clients who maintain an “Average Daily Combined Balance” of HK$1,500,000 or above. As a selected client, the Citigold service fee waiver is perpetual and can be enjoyed even if the client fails to meet the minimum balance requirement of Citigold until further notice. Citi reserves the right to terminate or downgrade the account if there is any change of the terms and conditions or if the client fails to meet the minimum balance requirement. Your current ATM card can still be used after the upgrade. Your Relationship Manager will present you with a new Citigold ATM card when you meet.
2. The “Average Daily Combined Balance” is calculated based on the sum of your daily balances of deposit, investment and accumulated paid premium* of selected insurance products of all your single name account(s) and joint name account(s), divided by the number of days in the month. Selected insurance products mean insurance policy(ies) with savings element or investment-linked insurance.
* For insurance policy(ies) with savings element, accumulated paid premium means total premium paid minus value of outstanding policy loan. For investment – linked insurance policy(ies), accumulated paid premium means total premium paid minus value of fund sold.
3. If the account balance does not meet the threshold by the end of the cut-off period, the client’s account will not be upgraded to Citigold.
