Notice for the Closing Auction Session in Hong Kong securities market:
The Closing Auction Session in the Hong Kong securities market has been suspended from March 23, 2009 and the market closes at 4 pm. For the details of the servicing hours of auction order, please logon to Citibank Online and click "Investments > Trade Now > Auction" section.
   
Suppression of Paper Advice Notice
To help save the environment, Citibank is putting substantial efforts to reduce paper consumption. Effective from June 28, 2008, no paper advice will be sent to customers for the below instructions through online banking.

  1. Adding or removing a merchant payee
  2. Removing a local third-party Citibank or non-Citibank payee
  3. Removing a Global Citibank payee
   
Notices for Internet FX Margin Trading Service - Service hours extension
(**All hours below are in HONG KONG time**)

To improve our service, the service hours of Internet FX Margin Trading will be extended as below with effect from June 9, 2008:
Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Tuesday to Friday: Whole day (except 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.)
Saturday: 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
 
Please Use Our New SWIFT Code "CITIHKAX" for Overseas Remittance Transactions
The SWIFT code for overseas remittance transactions is now changed from "CITIHKHX" to "CITIHKAX". We would appreciate your cooperation in advising your remitting bank to use this new SWIFT code to avoid delay or rejection in fund transfer. Please Use Our New Bank Code "250"
As a result of the transfer of the retail banking business from Citibank, N.A., Hong Kong Branch to Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("the Bank"), the Hong Kong Monetary Authority ("HKMA") requires the Bank to use the new bank code "250", instead of the old code "006". All transactions using the old bank code "006" will be rejected after August 31, 2006.

Hong Kong Securities Trading - Notice for Reduction of Brokerage Fees for Citigold Customers
We are pleased to announce that the brokerage fee for trading Hong Kong securities will be reduced for Citigold customers effective September 1, 2006:

Brokerage fee for trades placed through our Internet Securities Service:
0.20% of the transaction amount (Minimum Charge: HK$100 per transaction)

Brokerage fee for trades placed through our Dedicated Trading Hotline:
0.25% of the transaction amount (Minimum Charge: HK$125 per transaction)

Notice for Reduction of Minimum Trading Spread for Hong Kong Securities
The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has announced that effective July 24, 2006, the minimum trading spread for Hong Kong securities priced between HK$2 - HK$20 will be reduced. For shares priced between $2 - $10, the minimum spread will be revised to $0.01. For shares priced between $10 - $20, the minimum spread will be revised to $0.02.
 
Notice for Order Placements for US Securities Trading
Due to the implementation of Regulation NMS (Rule 612) by the US Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), effective January 30, 2006, US securities trading orders for shares priced at US$1 or above may be placed with order prices up to 2 decimal places ($0.01). For shares priced below US$1, orders may be placed at prices up to 4 decimal places ($0.0001). Otherwise, the orders will be rejected by the US Exchanges.
 
Minimum online transaction amount notice for Foreign Exchange Margin Trading customers:
Effective May 15, 2006, the minimum online transaction amount for Foreign Exchange Margin Trading is lowered from US$100,000 to US$50,000.
