Enter your 6-digit One-Time Password, then select “Register for Cash Payout Scheme”
Enter a mobile number2 or select “Use Bank Record” to receive notification
Select an account to receive the payment. Then, read the whole Declaration and Undertaking of Registrant carefully, tick the box to confirm and click “Next”
Review your input , then click “Confirm” to complete your registration
You can save your record by clicking “View Record”, and track your registration with the Reference Number provided on the page. The payment will be credited to your receiving account in about 1 week upon successful registration (or after July 8 2020, whichever is later).
- We suggest IE11 or Chrome browser for the best viewing experience during your registration.
- Only an 8-digit HK mobile number is accepted. It will only be used to receive SMS on Cash Payout Scheme, and will not replace your mobile number in the Bank’s record.

According to the Scheme guidelines, your registration will be processed and prioritized by age, and the payment will be credited to your registered account in about 14 working days after successful registration

What are the eligibility criteria of the Cash Payout Scheme (the Scheme)?
In simple terms, a person who is aged 18 or above, and is a Hong Kong permanent resident as at 31 March 2021 is considered eligible for the Scheme.
When will the registration begin?
The registration will begin from 21 Jun 2020 until 31 Dec 2021.
What account can I use for the registration?
You may use your personal HKD Saving or Current account to register the Scheme.
I have submitted my registration by Paper Form, where can I check for the reference number of my registration?
An acknowledgement notification with your registration reference number will be sent to your preferred contact number and email address registered in the bank’s record. It will normally take 1-2 business days from receipt of your registration form.
To expedite your registration validation process, please ensure that information provided on your paper form are clear, correct and signed. To minimize, mailing and registration processing time, you are encouraged to register via Citibank Online – a faster and more convenient method.
I am not in Hong Kong, how can I submit the registration?
You may submit your registration through Citibank Online, which is faster and more convenient while you are outside of Hong Kong. You may activate or Login to your Citibank online here.
During the batching period for the submission of paper form, when will open for my age group?
If you would like to submit your registration in person, you may visit our branch with your filled and signed paper form. Please follow the registration commencement below. You may consider submitting your registration online which is not limited by these timetable, you may login to your Citibank Online and submit your registration any time before 31 Dec 2021.

Where can I get a paper form?
You are encouraged to submit registration through Citibank Online, which is faster and more convenient. If you want a paper form, you can visit any of our branches for assistant; or you can download a soft copy HERE.
When can I receive the payment?
Registration submitted by Citibank online – Payment will be made approximately a week (or after 8 July 2020 whichever is later) from your submission date.
Registration submitted by paper – Payment will be made in approximately 2 weeks (or since the end day of the registration period of your respective batch, whichever is later) from SMS/email acknowledgement received date.
I have submitted my registration of the Scheme more than 1 week, but I didn’t receive any notification or payment, what can I do?
Payment date may differ by the Registration submission channel. To expedite your application, you are encouraged to submit your registration via Citibank Online.
- For Citibank Online users: the reference number of your registration will be displayed on the completion page of the registration process, we will not send a specific notification to you after completion. Payment will be made approximately a week (or after 8 July 2020 whichever is later) from your successful submission; and a notification will be sent upon payments being credited to your selected account.
- For users who register by a Paper Form: Registration will only be process upon completion of each batch (by age group). You will receive a notification with your registration reference number at your preferred contact number and the Bank’s registered email address; and the payment will be made 2 weeks from your receipt of reference number (or since the end day of the registration period of your respective batch, whichever is later).

I received a notification for the failure to credit the payment to my account. What can I do?
You can submit your registration again via Citibank Online or paper registration form by selecting other valid account immediately; otherwise, you can call our CitiPhone Banking Hotline at (852) 2860 0350 in office hours (from Mon to Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), or visit any of our branches for assistant.
How can I recognize the payment from the Scheme on my statement?
The payment from the Scheme will contain “HKSARG$10000” on your statement; or transaction history on Citibank Online.
