The promotion period is valid from February 1 to April 30, 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period consists of 2 phases:
1. i. Phase 1 : February 1 to March 15, 2024
2. ii. Phase 2 : March 16 to April 30, 2024
A “Phase” is defined as either Phase 1 or Phase 2.
This Promotion applies to cardholders (“Cardholders”) of Citi Credit Card (“Citi Credit Card”) issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”).
Cardholders are required to successfully register via one of the following channels during the Promotion Period to participate in this Promotion: (1) at this form; OR (2) register via Citi Mobile App “Get More” page (“Registration”) in order to participate in this Promotion. Each Cardholder is only required to register once only within the Promotion Period and is not required to register for each Citi Credit Card. Only the first 10,000 successfully registered Cardholders are eligible for this Promotion (“Eligible Cardholders”). Registration with a supplementary card is not accepted.
This Promotion applies to any posted retail transactions in foreign currencies (including Renminbi and Macau Patacas) made at overseas physical stores according to the merchant codes/transaction types as defined by relevant card association including but not limited to VISA International, Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and UnionPay International or a merchant's acquiring bank made with the Citi Credit Card during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions”). It excludes transactions made in the United Kingdom or any country participating in the European Economic Area (EEA) or joining after October 19, 2019, including, without limitation, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (“EEA Participating Countries”). Unless specified otherwise, “Eligible Transactions” refer to Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions with official payment records during the Promotion Period based on transaction date and exclude all Ineligible Transactions (defined below). Transactions with refund of any amount will be deemed ineligible. Citibank has no obligation to clarify whether a transaction is an Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction before the Cardholder conducts such transaction.
To be entitled for the 6% Rebate on Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions in a Phase (“Offer 1”), Eligible Cardholder is required to accumulate Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions equivalent to HK$3,000 or above in the same Phase. Each Eligible Cardholder is entitled to a maximum of HK$450 Extra Rebate in a Phase and a maximum of HK$900 Extra Rebate from Offer 1 regardless of the number of Citi Credit Cards used.
If the Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction is made through the Citi Cash Back Card, the 6% Rebate from Offer 1 is inclusive of the 2% Cash Rebate on spending in foreign currency stated in “Citi Cash Back Card Cash Rebate Program” and 4% Extra Rebate entitled from Offer 1.
In order to be entitled to the HK$300 Extra Rebate (“Offer 2”), Eligible Cardholder is required to accumulate Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions equivalent to HK$30,000 or above in a Phase. Each Eligible Cardholder is entitled to a maximum of HK$300 Extra Rebate from Offer 2 regardless of the number of Citi Credit Cards used.
All Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions made with any Citi Credit Card under the same Eligible Cardholder will be considered. Each Eligible Cardholder is subject to a maximum of HK$1,200 Extra Rebate in total, including Offer 1 and Offer 2 regardless of the number of Citi Credit Card used.
Eligible Foreign Currency Transactions effected through principal and supplementary cards under the same Citi Credit Card account will be combined.
