User ID Setup Tips

To create a User ID, simply click on the "Log on" button from the menu and choose "First time user". Input your Card Number, PIN, Account Number and click "Continue". Then enter your desired User ID and Password. Finally enter your Password again for confirmation.

For Citibank ATM card Users

The "Card Number" refers to the 16-digit number printed on the front of your Citibank ATM card.

For Credit Card Users

The "Card Number" refers to the 16-digit number printed on the front of your Credit Card.

For Diners Club Card Users

The "Card Number" refers to the 14-digit number printed on the front of your card.

For Citibank Cash Back American Express® Card Users

The "Card Number" refers to the 15-digit number printed on the front of your Credit Card.

The PIN refers to the 6-digit ATM PIN for your card.

Click on the PIN textbox and a PIN Pad will pop up. Simply use your mouse to enter your PIN and proceed to other inputs by clicking on another textbox.

For Citibank ATM card Users

More than one account can be linked to your Citibank ATM card. Each account is assigned an individual number. "Account Number" refers to the number of one of those accounts that is linked to your Citibank ATM card.

Your chosen User ID could be rejected for one of the following reasons:

  • Your User ID has been chosen by another user
  • Your User ID has violated the rules of setting up User ID. These include:

    • Using any character which is NOT an alphabet, NOT numeric and NOT one of the 3 designated special characters ( . @ _ )
    • Contains your Card Number
    • Has no alphabets
    • Contains no numbers
    • Contains less than 6 characters or more than 50
    • Contains 3 or more consecutive characters (e.g. "aaa101", "user999", "abbb10")
    • Contains 3 or more consecutive sequential characters (e.g. "abc007", "user123", "xx789xx").

Your chosen Password might be getting rejected for one of the following reasons:

  • Your new Password is the same as your old Password
  • Your Password has violated one of the following rules:

    • It contains a character which is NOT an alphabet, NOT numeric and NOT one of the designated special characters (- _ * & . : $ ! # / + =)
    • It contains a leading or trailing blank
    • It contains your Card Number
    • Your Password is the same as your User ID
    • It does not contain an alphabet
    • It does not contain any numbers
    • Is made up of less than 6 characters or more than 50
    • Your Password contains 3 or more consecutive identical characters (e.g. "aaa101", "pwd999", "abbb10")
    • Your Password contains 3 or more consecutive sequential characters (e.g. "abc007", "pwd123", "xx789xx").
