Send money with Citi JETCO Pay is as easy as 1-2-3!

Log on to the "Citi JETCO Pay" app and tap "Send money"
Tap "+" to add contacts from your phone book to the Pay List and tap the receiver

Input amount and confirm*

It's done after you enter the Mobile PIN for verification.
You will then receive the push notification. Money has been debited from your bank account. Your receiver will be notified via SMS/ push notification, he/she can collect the money from you by downloading either JETCO Pay apps or JETCO Pay P2P Collect app.

* To enhance security, you can opt to set a Sender Code for a particular transaction on the "Confirmation" screen. The receiver has to input the same code in order to collect the money. Find out more at the Frequently Asked Questions.

You will be notified via SMS/ push notification to collect the money. Money will be deposited in your bank account in real time after collection.

If you have registered with the Citi JETCO Pay service at the time someone sends you money, you will receive a push notification. Please collect the money within 7 days, otherwise, the money will be returned to sender.

No, you cannot. Only the first transaction (regardless of whether it is a send money or collect money transaction) made after registration will be entitled to the cash rebate. Therefore, your eligibility is based on the send money transaction.

Account holders of Citibank HKD savings or checking accounts, who have an activated ATM card, and who have registered a local mobile number with the bank can use Citi JETCO Pay to send and collect money.
To register with Citi JETCO Pay, you need to have:
• A Citibank HKD savings or checking account
• An active ATM card

To register with the Citi JETCO Pay service, you need to download the Citi JETCO Pay app, tap "Register" and follow the steps in the app. Your ATM card number and ATM PIN are required for registration. You cannot register with the Citi JETCO Pay service via Citibank Online or at a branch.
The mobile number shown during registration is the number in Citibank’s records. If you need to update your mobile phone number, please click here to download the Change of Contact Details Form and submit the form to any of our branches in person to update your mobile phone number.
Yes. You can register with the service via the Citi JETCO Pay app and start sending money after registration. However, since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, in order to collect money via Citi JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank’s app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off. Then log on to the Citi JETCO Pay app, and on the "Home screen", set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to on.
Yes. Please collect all the money via JETCO Pay P2P Collect App first before you registered with Citi JETCO Pay. Once you have registered with Citi JETCO Pay, the "Receiving Account" will be turned on automatically, and all the money which have not been collected will return to the sender’s account after expiry.
Notification messages will be sent to you through the Citi JETCO Pay app from time to time to alert you to any security or precautionary measures deemed necessary by JETCO. Such messages, if successfully sent, will be deemed to have reached you simultaneously. Please allow Citi JETCO Pay to send you notifications (including notifications to collect money) so that you don’t miss a thing.
Yes. You can terminate the service by tapping "Terminate JETCO Pay Service" under "My Account" after log on to the Citi JETCO Pay app. Thereafter, you will no longer be able to transfer or receive money via the Citi JETCO Pay app. Upon termination, all the transactions will be cancelled and the money will be returned to the sender. To reactivate the service, you need to follow the registration process again in the Citi JETCO Pay app. You will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions relating to the service.
You will need to terminate the Citi JETCO Pay service first, and register again.

The daily transfer limit is HK$5,000 which is not adjustable. This is a standalone transfer limit which is not subject to the maximum daily transfer limit shared by all channels.
No. You cannot add any oversea mobile phone number in the Pay List.
Yes. You can send money to almost everyone with a local bank account at a JETCO P2P participating bank and has a local mobile phone number.
The Pay List can store a maximum of 99 contacts.
The Sender Code is an additional password for enhanced security and it can be set when sending money. You need to inform the receiver of the sender code separately. The receiver has to input the same code in order to collect the money. Please follow the below steps to set the Sender Code:

Step 1: Tick the check box when sending money and set your Sender Code


Step 2: Tap "Send Sender Code" and you then notify the receiver via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
When your receiver collects the money from you, you’ll be notified by push notification and the transaction status will change to "Deposited in Account" or "Check Account after [date]" in "Transaction Info" or "Collect / Transaction" > "Send Money".
The receiver can collect the money immediately after you send it. The money will be deposited in 0-3 working days after collection, depending on the bank through which the receiver is linked to the JETCO Pay service.
Yes. You can cancel your instruction in the Citi JETCO Pay app as long as the receiver has not confirmed collection. Once the receiver has collected the money, your Send Money instruction is irrevocable. Please double check all the input information before confirming your Send Money instruction.
If the receiver has NOT confirmed collection of the money, please cancel your Send Money instruction in the Citi JETCO Pay app IMMEDIATELY. Once the receiver collects the money, your Send Money instruction is irrevocable. Please double check all the input information before confirming your Send Money instruction. You can also set the Sender Code, to avoid such a situation.
Since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, you are either registered with another bank’s account to Collect Money or have not turned on the Citi JETCO Pay receiving account. In order to collect money via Citi JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank’s app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off and turn on the Receiving Account in the Citi JETCO Pay app.
You should follow the instruction on the SMS notification to download the Citi JETCO Pay app and register with the service via the app. You will need to enter the User Code on the SMS and the sender’s mobile phone number in order to collect the money for the first time.
The Sender Code is an additional password for enhanced security which is set by the sender. You need to enter the same code in order to collect the money. Please request the Sender Code from the sender.
Money will be deposited in real time after collection and the transaction status will change to "Deposited in Account".
You have 7 calendar days to collect the money. After that, the transaction status will be changed to "Expired" and the money will be returned to the sender.
The transaction is one you did not collect within 7 days. The money has already been returned to the sender.
Under "Collect / Transaction" you will be able to view transaction status and history in separate tabs of "Send Money" and "Collect Money". Details as follows:

• Check account after [date] : It takes a few days for the money to be deposited in your receiver’s bank account. (Your receiver's linked bank account is not at Citibank or a JETCO Pay participating bank)
• Cancelled : You have cancelled the transaction and the money has been returned to your account in real time
• Rejected : Your receiver rejected collecting the money or input the wrong Sender Code or the system/ bank rejects this transaction. The money has been returned to your account in real time
• Expired : Your receiver has not provided the "Reject" or "Collect" instruction within 7 calendar days and the money has been returned to your bank account
Under "Transaction Info", you can select "Send Money" or "Collect Money" to view the latest 6 months transactions.
Please contact 24-hour CitiPhone Banking to reset your Mobile PIN for Citi JETCO Pay。You will be notified by the push notification with instructions on how to reset your Mobile PIN.
If you lost your phone, please do not worry, as the security features will prevent third parties to gain access. Please contact 24-hour CitiPhone Banking to report lost and to terminate the service. You will need to re-register Citi JETCO Pay service again with your new mobile.
You can reinstall the Citi JETCO Pay app with your new mobile device. Select "I have registered before" after providing your account details to complete the registration.
No. If you download and register Citi JETCO Pay on another mobile device, you will not be able to collect or send money through the Citi JETCO Pay app on your originally registered mobile device.

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. The promotion period of the program (the “Program”) is from April 28, 2017 to August 31, 2017 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. If Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) reasonably believes that any customer has been using or abetting others to use an inappropriate method or committing fraud to interrupt or interfere with any part of the Citibank operation, causing technical problems, disorders, jeopardizing, damaging or affecting the running of the Program, its accuracy, fairness or smooth operation or Citibank detects any invalid or incomplete data entry at the back-end or front-end, Citibank reserves the right to disqualify the Customer from participating in the Program and claim for any damage and loss arising from or in connection with any of the above suffered by Citibank from such Customer.
  3. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

“Up to HK$99 Cash Rebate on Citi JETCO Pay” Terms and Conditions

  1. “Up to HK$99 Cash Rebate on Citi JETCO Pay” (the “Rebate Offer”) is only applicable to customers who are the sole or primary account holders of any Citibank savings account or checking account and fulfill the following requirements during the entire Promotion Period (the "Eligible Customers"):
    1. Newly register with the Citi JETCO Pay service; and successfully complete the first transaction of sending HK$100 or above via the Citi JETCO Pay app, with it having been received by the Receiver. The Receiver’s mobile phone number must be different from the Sender’s mobile phone number registered with Citi JETCO Pay (the “Eligible Transfer Transaction”); OR
    2. Newly register with the Citi JETCO Pay service and successfully receive the first transaction of HK$100 or above via Citi JETCO Pay app, with it having been deposited in the registered Citibank account (the “Eligible Deposit Transaction”).
  2. The Rebate Offer only applies to the first 5,000 Eligible Customers.
  3. Transactions completed via the Citi JETCO Pay app will be assigned with a transaction ID (the “TranID”). The amount of cash rebate entitled will be based on the last two digits of the TranID with the minimum cash rebate being HK$0, and maximum being HK$99. If the last two digits of the TranID are 00, no cash rebate will be entitled; if the last two digits of the TranID are 01, a cash rebate of HK$1 will be entitled; if the last two digits of the TranID are 02, a cash rebate of HK$2 will be entitled, and so on. If the Customer has both an Eligible Transfer Transaction and an Eligible Deposit Transaction, the amount of the rebate will be determined by whichever transaction was earliest.
  4. During the entire Promotion Period, each Eligible Customer can enjoy the Rebate Offer only once and cannot participate in the HK$20 e-Coffee Voucher Offer as stipulated below.
  5. All the transactions must be completed within the Promotion Period. All transactions with transaction status “Ready for Collection”, “Cancelled”, “Rejected” or “Expired” will not be entitled to any cash rebate. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Customers to participate in this promotion as well as the transactions based on Citibank’s records.
  6. If transactions are confirmed to be qualified for the cash rebate after verification by Citibank at its sole and absolute discretion, the corresponding rebate will be automatically credited to the Eligible Customer’s account registered with Citi JETCO Pay according to the schedule below:

  8. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the cash rebate was awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Customer account the cash rebate without prior notice.
