Enter your ATM Card number & ATM PIN, and the push notification permission

Enter a One-time Password sent via SMS and select the account1

Done! You can now start using the app to transfer money. iPhone users4 can log into the app with Touch ID.

Remarks:

1.
Only applicable to HKD savings or checking accounts.
2. Your receiver will get a notification after you have sent the money. The nickname will be shown as the sender's name. Please set up a familiar nickname to your receiver.
3. The Mobile PIN will be used as the Citi JETCO Pay logon and as verification for conducting transactions.
4. iPhone Touch ID Sensor is currently available on Apple iPhone models which supported Touch ID.
Send Money

Send money with Citi JETCO Pay is as easy as 1-2-3!

Log on to the app and tap "Send money”.
Tap "+" to add contacts from your phone book to the Friend List and tap the receiver.

Input the amount and confirm. If the receiver’s bank supports P2P Auto-Collection, part of the receiver’s full name at the bank will be shown for payment verification and the money will be directly deposited into the receiver’s account. Please check carefully and confirm.

Verify with your Mobile PIN that the money is sent!
You will receive a push notification for the activity and when the money is deposited/to be collected by the receiver. Your receiver will also be notified via SMS/push notification, and he/she can collect the money from you by downloading either the JETCO Pay app or the JETCO Pay P2P Collect app.

How to register

After registration, make sure the toggle of “Collect money” is on and tap "Enter User Code from SMS". Input the "User code" stated in the SMS and the sender's mobile number.

Tap "Collect" and verify with your Mobile PIN.

Done! The money will be deposited in your bank account in real time. Your sender will receive a push notification that you have collected the money.

If you are notified by an SMS/ push notification about money collection, please collect the money via the app within 7 days, otherwise, the money will be returned to sender.

If the sender’s bank also supports P2P Auto-Collection, the money will be deposited directly in your bank account automatically.

Get notified via push notification. Log on to the app and tap "Collect/ P2P History"
Select the transaction with status "Ready for collection"

Tap "Collect" and verify with your Mobile PIN.

Done! The money will be deposited in your bank account in real time. Your sender will receive a push notification that you have collected the money.

You can now get paid back from friends without having any awkward conversations. Getting paid back has never been easier!

Tap "Send Money Request" under "Request Money" on the Home screen.
Select a friend from the Friend List to request money from.
Only friend(s) with Citi JETCO Pay app or with registered banks that support P2P Money Request will be available for selection.
Input subject and amount, and confirm the request.
Money Request Sent!
Your friend will receive a push notification / SMS for the request. You can also send a reminder to your friend!
Tap “Send Money Request” under “Request Money” on the Home screen.
Select friends from the Friend List to request money from.
Only friend(s) with Citi JETCO Pay app or with registered banks that support P2P Money Request will be available for selection.

Paying Money Request

You will be notified when your friend has sent a request and all the money requests received will be shown under “Money Out” after tapping “Request Money” on the Home Screen.

Get notified via push notification. Log on to the app and tap “Request Money” on the Home Screen.
Select the request(s) under “Money Out” > “Pending”.
After the request details display, check the details and tap Send Money. Make sure you know the requester when paying the request.
Verify with your Mobile PIN and Money Request is completed!
Your friend will then receive a push notification for the money deposited!
Check Transaction History

View all transactions under "Collect/ P2P History" at a glance!

All the transactions sent to you for collection are shown under the “Money in" tab

A transaction with the "Money Request" icon means the transaction is from Money Request.

Once you have downloaded the Citi JETCO Pay app and registered within the app, you can link your HKD savings account or checking account with your local mobile number registered with the bank. Add your phone contacts to the Pay List to start sending money. The receiver will be notified through SMS or push notification with instructions on how to collect and deposit the money in a Citibank or another Hong Kong bank HKD account. Joint accounts and business accounts are not supported by Citi JETCO Pay.
No. It is free to send or collect money via Citi JETCO Pay. However, there may be charges from your mobile communications service provider for SMS, mobile data and / or calls.
Account holders of Citibank HKD savings or checking accounts, who have an activated ATM card, and who have registered a local mobile number with the bank can use Citi JETCO Pay to send and collect money.
To register with Citi JETCO Pay, you need to have:
• A Citibank HKD savings or checking account
• An active ATM card
• A local mobile number registered in the bank's records.
Joint accounts and business accounts are not supported by Citi JETCO Pay.
To register with the Citi JETCO Pay service, you need to download the Citi JETCO Pay app, tap "Register" and follow the steps in the app. Your ATM card number and ATM PIN are required for registration. You cannot register with the Citi JETCO Pay service via Citibank Online or at a branch.
The mobile number shown during registration is the number in Citibank’s records. If you need to update your mobile phone number, please click here to download the Change of Contact Details Form and submit the form to any of our branches in person to update your mobile phone number.
Yes. You can register with the service via the Citi JETCO Pay app and start sending money after registration. However, since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, in order to collect money via Citi JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank’s app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off. Then log on to the Citi JETCO Pay app, and on the "Home screen", set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to on.
Yes. Please collect all the money via JETCO Pay P2P Collect App first before you registered with Citi JETCO Pay. Once you have registered with Citi JETCO Pay, the "Receiving Account" will be turned on automatically, and all the money which have not been collected will return to the sender’s account after expiry.
Notification messages will be sent to you through the Citi JETCO Pay app from time to time to alert you to any security or precautionary measures deemed necessary by JETCO. Such messages, if successfully sent, will be deemed to have reached you simultaneously. You can check these messages via the Message Centre on the side menu. Please allow Citi JETCO Pay to send you notifications (including notifications to collect money) so that you don’t miss a thing.
Yes. You can terminate the service by tapping "Terminate JETCO Pay Service" under "My Account" after log on to the Citi JETCO Pay app. Thereafter, you will no longer be able to transfer or receive money via the Citi JETCO Pay app. Upon termination, all the transactions will be cancelled and the money will be returned to the sender. To reactivate the service, you need to follow the registration process again in the Citi JETCO Pay app. You will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions relating to the service.
You will need to terminate the Citi JETCO Pay service first, and register again.
You should only download the JETCO Pay app and updates from official suppliers such as the App Store® and Google Play™ and not from any unauthorized source.

For Sony phones, the power saving mode should be turned off.
Android™ User Remarks:
Due to Android™ version 6.0 security enhancements, please note that JETCO Pay app requires Contacts and Telephone access for conducting transactions. For Android™ mobile devices with Android™ version 6.0 or above, a G08 error may occur during registration or the Mobile PIN reset process. In such an event, go to Settings to enable permissions manually:
  • Tap Apps, or go to Applications → Manage Applications
  • Tap on the JETCO Pay app(s)
  • Tap on Permissions
  • Enable permissions for both Contacts and Telephone
Touch ID is an alternative to using your Mobile PIN. It offers a simple, secure and faster way to authorize your Login, enable/disable account for “collecting money” and “paying requests” using just your fingerprint stored on your device.
You may enable/disable Touch ID under Profile Settings → Touch ID in Side Menu.
Touch ID is currently available on Apple iPhone models that support Touch ID.
The daily transfer limit is HK$5,000. This is a standalone transfer limit which is not subject to the maximum daily transfer limit shared by other channels. Please contact our CitiPhone Banking If you would like to adjust the daily transfer limit.
No. You cannot add any oversea mobile phone number in the Friend List.
Yes. You can send money to almost everyone with a local bank account at a JETCO P2P participating bank and has a local mobile phone number.
The Friend List can store a maximum of 99 contacts.
The Sender Code can be set when sending money. You need to inform the receiver of the sender code separately. The receiver has to input the same code in order to collect the money. Please follow the below steps to set the Sender Code:

Step 1: Tick the check box when sending money and set your Sender Code


Step 2: Tap “Send Sender Code” and then notify the receiver via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
If you see the masked name of the receiver in the confirmation screen of sending money, money in this P2P transaction will be directly deposited in the receiver’s bank account. If you cannot see the masked name, then the receiver needs to confirm money collection for this P2P transaction. The money will be deposited in 0-3 working days after collection, depending on the bank through which the receiver is linked to the JETCO Pay service.
If you see the masked name of the receiver in the confirmation screen of sending money, money in this P2P transaction will be directly deposited in the receiver’s bank account and is irrevocable. If you cannot see the masked name, it means the receiver has NOT confirmed collection of the money and you can cancel your Send Money instruction in the Citi JETCO Pay app. Please double check all the input information before confirming your Send Money instruction.
Since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, you are either registered with another bank’s account to Collect Money or have not turned on the Citi JETCO Pay receiving account. In order to collect money via Citi JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank’s app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off and turn on the Receiving Account in the Citi JETCO Pay app.
You should follow the instruction on the SMS notification to download the Citi JETCO Pay app and register with the service via the app. You will need to enter the User Code on the SMS and the sender’s mobile phone number in order to collect the money for the first time.
The Sender Code is an additional password for enhanced security which is set by the sender. You need to enter the same code in order to collect the money. Please request the Sender Code from the sender.
Money will be deposited in real time after collection and the transaction status will change to "Deposited in Account".
You have 7 calendar days to collect the money. After that, the transaction status will be changed to “Expired” and the money will be returned to the sender. If the sender’s bank supporting the P2P Auto-Collection does not require your confirmation to collect the money, it will be deposited in your bank account automatically.
The transaction is one you did not collect within 7 days. The money has already been returned to the sender.
You can only send money requests to friends registered with participating banks supporting P2P Money Request at the moment.
You can select up to 20 friends from your Friend List for each money request.
No, you cannot update your money request after it has been sent. Your Request Money instruction will expire after 14 calendar days as long as your friend(s) have not sent you the money.
When your friend pays a money request made by you, you will get a push notification and the request status will change to “Paid” in “Request Money” → “Money in”.
You can also locate a P2P transaction with “Request Money” icon and status as “Deposited” in “Collect/ P2P History”→ “Money in”.
You can send a reminder. Simply tap the particular request under “Request Money” to show the status of all the requested friends, then tap “Remind” to send out a reminder to a friend who has yet to respond. A notification will be sent to the friend to remind him/her to respond to your request. You may only send out a reminder once after the money request had been sent.
You can pay the money requested under “Request Money” after confirming the identity of the requester. Please ensure that you have enabled the “Paying Requests” feature on the Home screen before paying a money request.
Under “Collect/ P2P History” you will be able to view transaction status and history in separate tabs of “Money out” and “Money in”. Details as follows:

"Money in" tab
• Ready for Collection: There is money pending for you to collect
• Deposited in Account : Money is deposited in your bank account in real time
• Cancelled : The sender has cancelled the transaction
• Rejected : You have rejected collecting the money or you have input the wrong Sender Code or the system/ bank has rejected the transaction
• Expired : You have not provided the "Reject" or "Collect" instruction within 7 calendar days, and the money has been returned to the sender's account.

"Money out" tab
• Ready for Collection : You have successfully submitted the money transfer instruction to your receiver who has not yet collected the money
• Deposited in Account : The money is deposited in your receiver's bank account in real time
• Check account after [date] : It takes a few days for the money to be deposited in your receiver’s bank account. (Your receiver's linked bank account is not at Citibank or a JETCO Pay participating bank)
• Cancelled : You have cancelled the transaction and the money has been returned to your account in real time
• Rejected : Your receiver rejected collecting the money or input the wrong Sender Code or the system/ bank rejects this transaction. The money has been returned to your account in real time
• Expired : Your receiver has not provided the "Reject" or "Collect" instruction within 7 calendar days and the money has been returned to your bank account
Under "Collect/ P2P History", you can select "Money out" or "Money in" to view the latest 36 months transactions.
Please contact CitiPhone Banking to reset your Mobile PIN for Citi JETCO Pay. You will be notified by push notification with instructions on how to reset your Mobile PIN.
If you lost your phone, please do not worry, as the security features will prevent third parties to gain access. Please contact CitiPhone Banking to report lost and to terminate the service. You will need to re-register Citi JETCO Pay service again with your new mobile.
You can reinstall the Citi JETCO Pay app with your new mobile device. Select "I have registered before" after providing your account details to complete the registration.
No. If you download and register Citi JETCO Pay on another mobile device, you will not be able to collect or send money through the Citi JETCO Pay app on your originally registered mobile device.
