Citi Community Club

Founded in the 1980s, the Community Club is a pioneer in Hong Kong's corporate history of community services. It comprises employees from across Citi who actively contribute their time, skills and expertise towards local community development. The Community Club promotes volunteerism amongst our employees and prioritizes the allocation of resources for financial education, care of the under-privileged, and environmental conservation. Under a 'Heart to Share' scheme, the Community Club rewards it members and their families for achievements in volunteerism at different levels.



In 2014, over 2,800 Citi Hong Kong employees volunteered around 23,000 hours of expertise to community / volunteer programs facilitated by the Community Club, and the Bank was recognized by:



1. Social Welfare Department of the HKSAR Government

Individual Awards:


  • 10 Gold (200 hours of community service)
  • 8 Silver (100 hours of community service)
  • 17 Bronze (50 hours of community service)
