XI. Terms and Conditions of Welcome Offer^
  1. The promotion period is valid from June 1 to June 30, 2025, both days inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. Customers (“Eligible Members”) must submit the application form and successfully apply for a Primary Citi ULTIMA (“Eligible Card”) issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) during the Promotion Period.
  3. Each Eligible Member is only entitled to one welcome offer.
  4. Welcome offer cannot be changed once indicated on the invitation form, transferred to another person, cancelled, reversed nor exchanged for cash.
  5. Eligible Members’ Eligible Card accounts must be valid and in good standing during the entire Promotion Period and fulfillment period in order to enjoy the welcome offer.
  6. Each Eligible Member has to pay the first year annual fee of HK$23,800 in order to enjoy the welcome offer.
  7. 1,440,000 Points will be credited to the Eligible Member’s account in two months after the first year annual fee has been fully paid by Eligible Member.
XII. Required Document
Dedicated Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager will be in touch with you for required documents upon receiving your invitation form. Please prepare the following copies of documents to avoid processing delay. HKID of Primary Card Applicant AND Residential address proof within the recent 3 months showing the name of Primary Card Applicant, e.g. electricity bill or bank statement AND Any one of the following income/ asset proof documents showing the name of the Primary Card Applicant: Latest 1 month’s payroll slip OR Full set of bank statements/ passbook showing the name of Primary Card Applicant account number and last 3 months’ salaries OR Other asset proof, e.g. fixed deposit advice. For Primary Card Applicant who is not a Permanent Hong Kong Resident, please also provide: Valid passport showing the name, passport number and nationality of Primary Card Applicant AND Employment contract showing employment period. For Primary Card applicants with Former Name, please provide relevant documentary proof, such as certificate of registered particulars or tax return. The Bank may request the Primary Card Applicant to provide additional identification documents including but not limited to passport or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (Home Return Permit) when deemed necessary. Please note that invitation form and any document submitted will not be returned. Additional documents may be required to facilitate credit processing.

Terms and Conditions


The following terms and conditions will govern this application and applicable to the use of all Citi Credit Cards:

A. Terms and Conditions for Citi Credit Card Application (Applicable to all Citi Credit Card)

(1) My personal data provided under this application will be submitted to Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank" the "Bank") and will be governed by The Policy Statement relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Citibank ("Policy Statement").

(2) I agree to be contacted by Citibank staff and to provide other personal information and to complete my application over the phone when he/she contacts me.

(3) The Bank will only update any change to my existing records (if applicable) after successful identity verification.

(4) Citibank will review my credit report from the Credit reference agencies in assessing this application or other credit facilities provided to me.

(5) Application process will start immediately and will take a few steps to complete. Citibank will immediately access my credit report from the Credit reference agencies in the course of this application notwithstanding I may not have already completed all the steps. And I agree Citibank may contact me via phone contact listed in my credit report. Such access will be recorded in my credit reference report immediately and cannot be undone, even if I do not complete all the application steps or that this application is unsuccessful or cancelled.

(6) I consent to the Bank to transfer all or part of my information provided above ("the Information") to Credit reference agencies for the purpose of matching the Information against the data held in the database of Credit reference agencies from time to time in order to verify my identity. I acknowledge that the Bank will not process, record or keep any of the Information in any manner.

(7) I consent to and authorize Credit reference agencies to access all or part of my consumer credit data which may be held in its database from time to time ("My Credit Data") and to:
(i) match all or part of My Credit Data against the Information transferred by the Bank to Credit reference agencies pursuant to the consent given in the paragraph above; and
(ii) generate questions directly or indirectly from any or all of the information contained in My Credit Data whether on its own or in conjunction with other source of information, collect responses to such questions from me and match such responses against any information contained in My Credit Data for the purpose of verifying my identity as part of assessment of my credit related risks in relation to my application and thereafter to process, use and transfer the result of the verification or any data arising therefrom to the Bank. I acknowledge that Credit reference agencies has sole control and access to questions that may be posed to me and my responses thereto.

(8) The issue of any Citi Credit Card to me will be accompanied by the relevant Citi Credit Card Agreement (an "Agreement“), as amended from time to time, copies of which are also available upon request.

(9) I may from time to time apply for further Citi Credit Cards from Citibank and Citibank may issue the same to me without a written acknowledgement of the relevant Agreement(s).

(10) To help prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, the laws of many jurisdictions, as well as Bank's policy, I understand that you will require me to provide information that identify me who apply for a credit card with Citibank and that such information will be verified and recorded. When I apply for a credit card, you will ask for my name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow you to identify me. You will also ask to see and retain a copy of my photo ID or other identifying documents.

(11) I warrant that all the information provided in this form is correct and complete. Citibank will only update any change to my existing records (if applicable) after successful identity verification. I accept after successful verification, Citibank will contact me for information about my use of Citibank services and product & services alerts including but not limited to receiving e-statements (on subscription) and other promotional/ marketing materials. However, in the event of unsuccessful verification or card application, I understand that the bank will not update its records and will continue to use my existing record to contact me. I will update Citibank immediately on any subsequent changes to the above information. I authorize Citibank to verify the information provided in respect of this form from and/or exchange it with any source. I also understand that account opening and/or the provision of any service by Citibank is subject to Citibank's internal approval, and is subject to my full acceptance of the relevant Terms and Conditions, agreements and declarations in respect of this form.

(12) I warrant that I am not bankrupt; no petition for bankruptcy is presented against me; I am not insolvent; no application by me or any other person for an interim order for making a debtor's proposal for voluntary arrangements.

(13) Citibank, employees of Citibank, authorized agents of Citibank or any of Citibank affiliates may act in different capacities, and may be remunerated, or may receive benefits or profits, either directly or indirectly in connection with the services provided. The remuneration of employees or authorized agents of Citibank may comprise a fixed pay and/or a variable compensation which is determined by a number of factors including the sales performance.

(14) All information requested by Citibank during the credit card application process is necessary (unless otherwise specified as optional) for Citibank to process my application. Citibank reserves the right to proceed or terminate the application if I failed to provide the same to Citibank. I agree that my personal data and information collected by Citibank from time to time may be used and disclosed for such purpose and to such persons (whether in or outside Hong Kong) as set out in the Policy Statement.

(15) I agree to your recording all my telephone conversations with you. In any event, you may refuse to accept this application in the light of my individual circumstances.

(16) The email provided will be used for electronic communication for this application, that electronic messages may contain viruses or may be delayed and that there are confidentiality and other risks associated with the delivery of customer communication. The Bank shall not be held responsible for any of these occurrences or for any unauthorized access and/or alteration to any e-mail communication. All electronic communications will be deemed to have been received by me on the day that the Bank sends the e-mail to the relevant e-mail address, even if the recipient does not access the electronic communication for any reason.

(17) I understand and agree that (a) Citibank may require my income or asset proof (e.g. copies of bank statements, saving passbook, current time deposit certificate) as supporting documents for this Application, and/or (b) if I have made any representation of property ownership in this Application, Citibank may obtain Land Records from the Land Registry to verify my property ownership without further notice if I have not provided sufficient supporting documents for Citibank to assess this Application.

(18) I agree and accept that Citibank reserves the right to continue processing this Application even if I have not provided any supporting documents for this Application, which shall not be regarded as my cancellation of this Application.

(19) The promotions, products and services mentioned in the referenced document are not offered to individuals resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Guernsey and Jersey, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, The Isle of Man, the UK, Brazil, New Zealand, Jamaica, Ecuador or Sri Lanka. The referenced document is not, and should not be construed as, an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy or sell any of the promotions, products and services mentioned therein to such individuals.

(20) I acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for, and that neither Citibank nor any other Citigroup Company has any responsibility for, my compliance with any laws, regulations or rules applicable to my Account, my use of any of Citibank facilities or services, any transactions conducted by me with Citibank or through Citibank, including but not limited to: (a) any laws, regulations or rules, in my or any other jurisdiction, relating to tax, foreign exchange and capital control, (b) reporting or filing requirements, and (c) consents, licenses, approval and authorizations of any governmental authority, bureau or agency (including central bank approval), that may apply as a result of my country of citizenship, domicile, residence or tax-paying status.

(21) The Welcome Offers are only applicable to customers who currently do not hold, have not cancelled or have not held any principal card of Citi ULTIMA within the past 12 months from the month of application for the Citi ULTIMA. Customers must submit the application form and successfully apply for a principal card of Citi ULTIMA during the Promotion Period. All Welcome Offers are subject to Welcome Offer Terms and Conditions.

(22) With respect to this form and any other relevant documents, in case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

(23) This Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the following document/ terms and conditions: B. Major Terms and Conditions of Citi Credit Card Cardholder/Cardmember Agreement (Applicable to all Citi Credit Card)

Cardmember agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions as set out in the relevant Agreement. Cardmember attention is drawn, in particular, to the Terms and Conditions listed below,

which Terms and Conditions are more fully detailed in the relevant Agreement.


(1) Cardholder/Cardmember shall sign on the Citi Credit Card as soon as it is received.

(2) Cardholder/Cardmember agrees to keep any personal identification number ("PIN") confidential and to inform Citibank if the PIN is known to any other person. Cardholder/ Cardmember will indemnify Citibank against any losses or liabilities resulting from the PIN being known to any other person.

(3) Cardholder/Cardmember is responsible for repaying any outstanding balance on time and is liable for penalty charges if the required minimum payment is not made.

(4) In case of default, Cardholder/Cardmember is liable to pay the costs and expenses reasonably incurred by Citibank in recovering the debt.

(5) If the Cardholder/Cardmember acts fraudulently or with gross negligence, he/she shall be responsible for all losses incurred by Citibank.

(6) The maximum liability for unauthorized transactions (exclude Cash Advance, use of the Cash automated teller machines.) before a Card loss is reported shall be HK$500

(7) A statement of account shall be conclusive if the Cardholder/Cardmember fails to report an unauthorised transaction within 60 days from the statement date.

(8) Citibank may, at any time and without prior notice, set off or transfer any monies standing to the credit of the Cardholder's / Cardmember's account with Citibank and bank accounts with Citibank towards discharge of all sums due to Citibank in connection with the Card. Insofar as any of the sums may only be due to Citibank contingently or in future, Citibank's liability to the Cardholder / Cardmember to make payment of any sums standing to the credit of any such accounts will to the extent necessary to cover such sums be suspended until the happening of the contingency or future event.

(9) Citibank has the right to set off any credit balance maintained by the Cardholder/Cardmember with Citibank.

(10) Principal Cardholders/Cardmembers shall be responsible for debts of both the Principal and Supplementary Cards. A Supplementary Cardholder/Cardmember shall only be responsible for debts incurred in using his/her own Supplementary Card.

(11) Citibank reserves the right to demand immediate repayment.

(12) The Cardholder/Cardmember has the right to terminate the Agreement if he/she does not accept any amendment to the Agreement proposed by Citibank.

C. Citi Credit Card Agreement

(1) Employees of Citibank or Citibank N.A or its subsidiaries are not eligible for any Promotion offers

(2) Citibank is not a supplier or service provider of the products/services/auxiliary services provided and shall not be responsible for any matters relating to the products or services provided. The respective companies are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities in relation to such products or services. Upon redemption, all the products/services/auxiliary services cannot be replaced, returned or refunded.

(3) Citibank and the respective merchants reserve the right to amend these and relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

(4) All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of Citibank and the respective merchants.

(5) In case of discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

No person other than Cardholder or Citibank will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of these terms and conditions.
